On the 8th of July 12 young kharkovites went to Austria to pass therapy within Austrian and German program developed for children with oncohemetological diseases.
«The aim of this program is extremely precise. It is rehabilitation of sick children which health condition allows them to go abroad and participate in the program prepared for them by German specialists according to their diseases. Practice of our long-time cooperation with the Austrian ecology organization “Global-2000” has shown very positive results in curing children of this category”, – the deputy of the mayor of Kharkiv Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban admitted.
According to the task given by the mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes the children are going to pass thanksgiving letters and souvenirs to the organizers of the project the deputy of the burgomaster of Ibbs (Austria) Frantz Brakhinger and the manager of the Austrian ecology organization “Global-2000” Christopher Otto.
The rehabilitation will due for 21 days and after that little kharkovites are coming back home. .
Information. Cooperation between Kharkiv city council and the Austrian ecology organization “Global-2000” has been conducted since 1992 and is aimed to improve material and technical base of the communal enterprise of health care “Kharkiv city clinical children hospital №16” and to improve care and diagnostic help children with oncohematological diseases.
270 children with leukemia were rehabilitated within this project.
