"Almost all important and necessary medical equipment in our city is operates. Not all of it is at the disposal of urban hospitals, but Kharkovites can use it "- the deputy mayor of Kharkov Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban is said.

At the same time, about a third of the equipment in medical institutions of Kharkov is need of replacement. "All the necessary equipment to buy at once is impossible. Medical institutions of the city are not funded by more than 70% of needs", - the Deputy Mayor of Kharkov Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban is added.

However, according to Deputy Mayor of Kharkov, Kharkov health stepped forward after the elimination of district councils. "After the medical institutions that have been on the balance of regional councils have moved to the jurisdiction of the city, in which for the first time for many years major repairs began to make, purchase medical equipment. With its procurement and distribution, we pay particular attention to obstetrics, emergency room, surgery, infectious diseases, "- the deputy mayor of Kharkov Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban is said.
