Children's hospital No.16 received 10 thousand euro cheque from German foundation

The management of «German Football Union» fund named after Egidius Brown handed humanitarian help to Kharkiv Children's hospital №16 in size of 10, 000 thousand euro.

During the visit guests attended hemodialysis unit where they had a conversation with a patient that is passing a course of procedures and also a laboratory of intensive therapy unit. Here the medical equipment was shown for the German delegation. Expensive materials for the unit are bought on means of German fund.

Fund representatives have also visited hematology unit where 50 children pass treatment - 30 of them have blood cancer.

After survey of wards and laboratories of the children's hospital, fund representatives gave to the medical institution management the cheque for 10 thousand euros and expressed confidence that these means will benefit to little Kharkiv residents – hospital patients.

«On behalf of the Kharkiv mayor Gennady Kernes thank you for your visit, and also for those means which you gave to our hospital. We assure we will spend this money in the best way, with the advantage for our children. Thank you. We hope for further cooperation», - addressed the mayor deputy in questions of Public Health Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban to the German guests.

Svetlana Gorbunova-Ruban said that every year the hospital No. 16 receives humanitarian assistance in the sum of 10 thousand euros. On these means The hospital purchase assay reagents, expensive materials for clinicodiagnostic laboratory, for X-ray unit, to carry out plateletpheresis and hemodialysis.
