A ferret predicts results of Euro-2012 matches in Kharkiv

The ferret-soothsayer was introduced to journalists in the press-center of Kharkiv city council today, on the 28th of May.

His name is Fred and he is three years old. Fred is a native kharkovite, he had used to work with children and Kharkiv zoo when his extraordinary abilities were noticed. His name – Fred – was chosen because of the English name of the specie and its simplicity in pronunciation and memorizing. Fred will have 15 minutes only to choose between two plates with fresh beef and flags of national teams playing each match day in Kharkiv. While at the host city fan-zone Fred will be accompanied by his own doctor. The ferret could lose the honor to represent Kharkiv soothsayers during the Championship. But his competitor, the marmot, was scared with public attention and dug a tunnel under its cage to avoid publicity. During his first press-conference Fred was suggested two plates with food in order to choose how many people were going to attend Kharkiv fan-zone on the match days. The ferret predicted 200 thousand people to be at Svobody square on three match days.
