Blankets and sleeping bags delivered to Kharkiv heating centres by UN The United Nations High Commissioner’s Office for Refugees (UNHCR) has provided blankets and bedding to warming centres in Kharkiv.

The items were delivered in cooperation with the Kharkiv Office of Reforms. The UN agency provided 6 thousand blankets and sleeping bags, 180 beds and pillows.

The abovementioned organizations, in cooperation with the ‘Proliska’ humanitarian mission, also began distributing humanitarian aid to residents of Northern Saltivka who suffered during the war. Within two weeks, 1.8 thousand Kharkiv residents will receive blankets, thermoses, lamps, hygiene kits, heaters, and sleeping bags.

It should be noted that the UN Agency has been systematically supporting the City. Earlier, UNHCR provided Kharkiv with powerful generators and construction materials for repair work.
