More than six thousand entrepreneurs have started businesses in Kharkiv since the beginning of the year

Between January and June 2024, 6185 individual entrepreneurs expressed a desire to start their own business and officially registered their business in Kharkiv.

According to the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Kharkiv region, during the same period, 456 individual entrepreneurs (mostly from the de-occupied territories) chose Kharkiv as a new location for their business and changed their tax address.

At the same time, 5136 individual entrepreneurs ceased operations in January-June, and 450 individual entrepreneurs moved their businesses out of Kharkiv and changed their tax address to another region or territorial community. As of July 1, the number of individual entrepreneurs in Kharkiv was over 119 thousand.

The Department of Administrative Services and Consumer Market emphasized that despite the power outage and other wartime challenges, Kharkiv entrepreneurs are constantly looking for new opportunities to intensify their activities and development, and the city authorities are trying to accumulate all possible resources to bring business back to Kharkiv.
