During the holiday of the first-grade students on the 1st of September at Svobody square there was the greatest flash-mob in Ukraine.
“Maidans” team members participated in it, the first grade students of Kharkiv universities, 20 dance teams of the city and a thousand of volunteers who had registered themselves for the event through social networks. The participants of flash-mob performed a key of knowledge at the largest square of Europe. After that 15 thousand of Kharkiv first grade students joint the participants of flash-mob. Thus it was a record of Ukraine in the category of mass events – it was the most mass flash-mob on the number of dancing people in one city – 22500 people. The mayor of Kharkiv Gennadiy Kernes gave Vil Bakirov, the chairman of the Council of Kharkiv region rectors the certificate confirming the named record.
The choreographer of Kharkiv team of “MAidans-2” project Amador Lopez directed the students flash-mob. He said that Kharkiv would be not only the students but the dance capital of our country.
