Nine delegations from twin cities will visit Kharkiv on the Town Day Nine official delegations from twin cities and partners of the city will come to Kharkiv for the celebration of the Town Day at the invitation of Kharkiv city mayor Gennadiy Kernes.
 
Kharkiv awaits for the visit of delegations from Belgorod, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg(Russia), Varna (Bulgaria), Erevan(Armenia), Kaunas(Lithuania), Kutaisi(Georgia), Rishon Lezion(Israel).
 
The most numerous delegation is from St. Petersburg – 11 people. The delegation includes representatives of veteran organizations from St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region including participants of the Great Patriotic War.
 
The delegation of the Slovenian company «RIKO», represented by the managing director Janez Shkrabec, will take part in the celebration of the Town Day.
 
To participate in the events in honor of the Town Day were invited the chiefs of diplomatic consular institutions and international embassies working in Kharkiv.
 
The reception of delegations from Ukraine and foreign twin cities will take place on August, 23 (at 3 p.m.) in the hall of city council.
