Michel Platini reviewed EURO-2012 results

UEFA EURO-2012 will remain a grand holiday and inheritance of football history for the next providers of the tournament.

As «ICTV» channel broadcasts, such statement was made by the president of UEFA Michel Platini at the meeting of UEFA executive committee.

«I am proud of Ukraine and Poland. They held tremendous, unique tournament», - the president of UEFA told. He also specified that this championship is a record one. 1 million 300 people visited the matches, 6 thousand volunteers and 8 thousand journalists were involved in operation. Michel Platini noted they watched the games not only in Europe but in Asia and USA as well.

As to the opinion of the UEFA president Ukraine and Poland managed to achieve the high level of organization, infrastructure and safety. «Everyone who came to UEFA EURO 2012 to Ukraine and Poland convinced that these two countries carried out the objective. Everything that was told by mass media beforehand about racism, criminal and prostitution is a nonsense. I think that all the guests are satisfied», - Michel Platini stated.
