About 30 thousand people celebrated the New Year in Gorky Park

New Year's Eve in Gorky park was visited by around 30 thousand people.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kharkiv region informed about it on January, 1. Peace and order was preserved by 60 policemen.

More than 15 thousand of total amount of guests of the park took a spin on the amusement rides. According to Christina Nastachenko, the director of new year program, the holiday started at 8 pm on December, 31 and was over at about 5 am on January, 1.

"There were a lot of people – the square and the alley of the park were full" - Christina Nastachenko said.

On New Year's night was held a New Year parade with Santa Claus and Snow Maiden, fire show, disco, draw. After the chime of bells there were fireworks that continued about 15 minutes.

The director of the events informed that on January, 7 there will be held Christmas demonstration and puppet show.
