A transport perimeter of the "Metallist" stadium will be set in motion tommorow

On the 17th of June, the transport perimeter of the «Metalist» stadium will be involved in the match day of the Netherlands – Portugal.

The perimeter will be blocked beginning with Gagarin Ave – Rudnev Square - Moskovsky Ave - Polevoy St - Zolotoy Lane - Gagarin Ave. The entrance to the perimeter will be closed at 6:00 of the match day till 2:00 of the next day.

In four hours before the match which will begin at 21:45, the movement of motor transport (except accredited by UEFA EURO-2012) in perimeter is forbidden. The movement on the main route of the UEFA EURO-2012: the airport – the «Metalist» stadium - Svobody Square - also can be blocked.

The state traffic inspectorate addresses to residents with a request to leave an individual transport outside of the perimeter in protected parkings (under the Balashovsky overpass, on the crossing of Moskovsky Ave and Vosstaniya Square), and also to plan routes, passing the central part of the city and the main route of UEFA EURO-2012 in Kharkiv. GAI also asks Kharkiv residents not to park cars on the perimeter limits and to fulfill the requirements of GAI staff and traffic controllers.

On the match day two extra temporal akcreditatsionny centers will work at the crossroads of Polevoy St. and Plekhanovskaya St., and crossroads of Bogdan Khmelnytsky St. and Moskovsky Ave. At these centers will consider requests of inhabitants of transport perimeter that will have a necessity to use an individual transport and to cross perimeter boders. Such an accredited machine will move inside the perimeter from a post to post of GAI.

Besides, on the 17^th of June at 18:30 will begin a procession of fans along the route: Freedom Square - Ivanov St. - Pushkinskaya St. - Korolenko St. – Konstitutsii Square - Moskovsky Ave. - Krasnoshkolnaya Naberegnaya - Shota Rustaveli St. – Rudnev Square - Gagarin Ave. - Plekhanovskaya St. - Kirov St. - Tarasovskaya St. GAI posts on the way of columns movement will gradually block adjacent streets. Sumskaya St. will be blocked in a «blinking» mode: fans will be taken across in groups. The traffic will be restarted immediately after the column passing.

On the17^th of June, Kharkiv subway and overground transport , will work round the clock.

At the same time, «Sportivnaya» metro station and «Metrosrtoiteley after G.I.Vashchenko» metro station will be closed for droping-off and boarding of passengers. Subway trains will pass these stations without stops, all entrances to stations hall will be closed .
