Renovated Austrian library will be opened in Kharkiv

Renovated hall of Austrian library will be opened on December, 7 in Khrakiv state scholarlike library n.a. Korolenko V.G.

The hall of Austrian publications has been operating on the first floor of Korolenko library for 15 years. The placement was totally reconstructed, renovated and equipped. New furniture and supplementary shelving were ordered to the reading room.

Now there are more than 4 thousand of publications in Austrian library of Kharkiv. One can work with the material in the library and at home. Ukraine has only 5 similar libraries and Kharkiv library is the only one in Eastern Ukraine. All the fund is gathered and refilled due to the finance of Austrian Government.

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Austria in Ukraine Wolf Dietrich Heim will take part at the opening of renovated library rooms.
