Due to new campaign of the shelter more animals found new homes

Kharkiv animal shelter was able to place 25 pets due to their new campaign “Waiting for you!” that was announced 10 days ago.

Yulia Shapovalova, the director of the centre informed about it on November, 26.

She noted that among adopted animals there are 13 cats and 12 dogs.

“Among the animals that took part in the campaign we have only three cats left. We are happy that more animals have found their homes,” - Yulia Shapovalova emphasized.

According to her, the shelter is now warming cages for dogs. Recently Kharkiv city centre for homeless animals has addressed the Kharkovites through the media to bring things that would come in handy for warming the shelter for winter. So currently, citizens have passed about one hundred blankets.

Also, the shelter carries an active prevention of infection. All employees, visitors and volunteers are required to wear shoe covers and gloves prior to enter rooms for cats, as they are liable to infection most of all.
