The branch of Center for International Education is opened in Kharkiv

Upon an initiative of the rectors of Kharkiv universities the branch of state enterprise «Ukrainian canter of international education» was opened in Kharkiv.

Vasiliy Shik, the director of the center informed about it on October, 24 during the Council of rectors of Kharkiv region universities of ІІІ-ІV level of accreditation. The organization aims to help higher education institutions in the solution of student’s migration problem.

Vasiliy Shik emphasized that mostly questions occur with the crossing of the State border, also with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine. It happens because Ukrainian universities are not always able to legalize a document in the right way or simply because they don’t meet guest students when they in-move the Ukraine.

The director also emphasized that organization will also address the issue not only with the in-move of foreign students but also with Ukrainian students leaving abroad.

The organization will also operate in online mode. One will be able to ask the majority of questions via the web-site or an e-mail.
