20 % of passenger-carrying coach have video cameras

To improve the work of drivers were installed cameras in 20% of buses in Kharkiv.

The director of Transport and Connections Department, Sergiy Dulfan informed about it.

There are three types of cameras. One works from the street and helps to evaluate the quality of driving from the side of safety. The second camera shows the number of benefit holders who come to the bus. The third type of camera shows the passenger compartment.

«Transport enterprises who provide passenger transportation in the city try to bring their activities to the norms of state regulations. They watch the driver activity thoroughly. This is only the decision of the holders if they are interested in such a work with the staff. The practice shows that the installation of cameras give positive results. We expect to come to the video monitoring in all the buses», - Sergiy Dulfan marked.

12 bus operators work in Kharkiv at the moment and they have 967 buses on the route.
