In the reconstructing crossroad of Vosstania square and Moskovsky av. Today on the 7th of November the movement of municipal and auto transport was renewed.
The mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes and the head of Kharkiv regional state administration were present at the opening of one of the biggest transport bypass.
“This crossroad is one of the most difficult in Europe, it is a very serious construction. The works made here are very complicated, and they were made in very short terms. Kharkovites themselves will estimate everything that was made”, - the mayor of Kharkiv noticed.
He also thanked the workers and engineers who worked at the bypass reconstruction.
“It is a proof of renovation of our city. We develop a culture of street traffic and in future there will be not bypasses only but viaducts and other kinds of transport and walk bypasses”, - Gennady Kernes admitted.
He also informed that the earth pass at Gagarina avenue which is built for “kids and other khirkovites safety” will be opened soon. Besides the works at Rosa Luksemburg sq. will be opened soon, where a modern tram crossing is also necessary.
The mayor of Kharkiv admitted that Kharkiv had already received 30 million hrivnas from the state budget to construct roads. Let us remind that according to EURo-2012 program this part of expenses had foreseen 500 million hrivnas.
“We are working without any stops and we are not slowing down. We have Klochkovskaya and Moskovsky avenue and Oktyabrsky Revolution street, and the streets of Alekseyevka. We are making long-term programs”, the mayor of Kharkiv added.
