City authorities and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development agreed to cooperate

EBRD intents to explore all avenues of Kharkiv for the realization of a range of questions.

It was discussed during the meeting of Kharkiv city mayor Gennadiy Kernes with the delegation of court of directors of EBRD.

As Andre Kuusvek, the director of EBRD in Ukraine noted he is ready to consider all possible initiatives and projects in residential sector that are possible to be implemented in Kharkiv.«As to specific projects we are to work on it. We will consider all the offers we received from the mayor», - the director ot EBRD in Ukraine told.

Gennadiy Kernes noted that Kharkiv is also interested in cooperation with EBRD. The city is looking for possibility to involve extra-budgetary resources to realize the projects in the spheres of energy efficiency and energy conservation. «EBRD reviews the policy in Ukraine and explore the projects that municipal government has. I think a lot of joint operations expect us. We are encouraged that such a strong delegation visited our city and we will do everything possible for our collaboration to produce an effect», - Gennadiy Kernes informed.

The mayor deputies, his advisers, the directors of the departments and the executives of communal enterprises of the city were present at the meeting.
