Kharkiv and Nurnberg discussed cooperation plans for future year Kharkiv and Nurnberg discussed  plans of cooperation for 2013 during the visit of Kharkiv delegation to German twin-city.
 
Kharkiv delegation at the head of Marina Stamatina, the deputy mayor in legal groundwork questions, met with Ulrich Maly, the mayor of Nurnberg. At the conclusion of their visit the sides signed the protocol on separate agreements in cooperation between twin-cities Nurnberg and Kharkiv in 2013.
 
The main lines of cooperation between the two cities will be education, sport, tourism, energy saving and environmental protection in the coming year. It is planned to carry joint tournaments in soccer and ballroom dances, conferences and literary readings. Schools of Kharkiv and Nurnberg will exchange experience in teaching Russian and German languages.
 
Experts from Nurnberg will upgrade social workers skills in cultural and educational center "Nurnberg House" in Kharkiv. In addition, it is planned that Kharkiv will take part in two-year project "The culture of heritage and education in human rights sphere". As a part of the project Nurnberg teachers and students will talk with the combatants and Kharkiv citizens about violence during war and about overcoming of it.
