Today, on January 17, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov met with representatives of the Israeli community ‘Beit Hallel Congregation’.
The parties discussed the current situation in the City and further cooperation, and agreed on humanitarian aid to support Kharkiv residents from Israeli volunteer foundations during the period of countering russian aggression.
‘Kharkiv is still being shelled. The enemy does not stop destroying the City’s infrastructure and crippling the lives of civilians with S-300 missiles and drones. Our City is one of the most destroyed in Ukraine, and today russia has taken away the roof over the heads of 150 thousand people. But despite all this, we are trying to maintain order and continue to provide the City’s residents with everything they need. For the sake of a free future for us and our children. We thank Israel and all the countries that do not remain indifferent to the grief of Ukrainians,’ said Ihor Terekhov.
