Doctor Alban and Sophie Alice Backstor are going to perform in Kharkiv on Independence Day

World famous stars Sweden performer Doctor Alban and English singer Sophie Alice Backstor are going to perform in Svobody sq in Kharkov on the 24th of August on Independence Day.

The director of the Department of culture of Kharkov city council Svetlana Babitskaya informed of it today in the press-center of Kharkov city council.

The main accent will be made on the musical part of the celebration program devoted to the 20^th anniversary of Independence of Ukraine and the Day of deliverance of Kharkiv from fascist invaders and the Day of the City Besides European guests there will b eSvetlana Loboda, groups “Discoteca Avaria” and “Chai vdvoyem”. Ludmila Senchina, Nani Bregvadze, Nikolay Gnatyk, Roksana Babayan, “Pesnyary” are going to perfom for elder generation with their hits of previous years/ A lot of dance and singing teams of Kharkov are going to participate in the concert too.
”I would like to admit that we are going to spend not a penny of budget means to pay the artists. The sponsors took all the expenses”, - the director of the Department of culture Svetlana Babitskaya underlined.
