Kharkiv has already found 930 volunteers of the host city for the European Championship on football of 2012.

The deputy of the mayor of Kharkiv Alexander Popov informed of that today, on the 1st of February, in the press-center of Kharkiv city council.
He noticed that since September of 2011 Kharkiv city center of social service for families, children and youth “Dovira” have been testing and hiring volunteers. It is planned to attract about 1215 volunteers for EURO-2012 matches. The additional testing of those who would like to participate the volunteers program will due to the 1st of March.
As Alexander Popov admitted, the company of volunteers attracting would be activated.
Konstatntin Podgorny, the chief of sub-department of family and youth, informed that the average age of volunteers was about 22, most of the volunteers were the students of Kharkiv higher educational institutions. As he told, the volunteers of the other cities would live in one of the students hostels.
