The mayor of Kharkiv Gennady Kernes had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in Ukraine Hans-Jorgen Haimziott and with the Consul General of Germany in Donetsk Clause Tsilliktsen.
“We think that relations between our countries were always for good of our peoples. I would like to remind that Kharkiv is the only city in Ukraine which won four honors of Europe council. Now Kharkiv is very attractive for investments, the city changes very fast. It is connected, in particular, with preparing to EURO-2012. We work a lot to create comfortable conditions for the guests of the championship. And we hope to see your team in Kharkiv! - Gennady Kernes said, addressing the guests. – And I would also like to thank our German guests for our cooperation with our twin-city Nuremberg, we hope for our further productive cooperation with this city”
In his turn Hans-Jorgen Haimziott informed that he had been to Kharkiv for the second time, for the first time he had been to our city three years before. Also the ambassador admitted the importance of the twin relations between Nuremberg and Kharkiv for Ukrainian and German relations.
Let us admit that on the 6th of October the Ambassador Extraodinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in Ukraine Hans-Jorgen Haimziott with his wife and Consul General of FRG in Donetsk Clause Tsilliktsen were in Kharkiv.
