Kharkov shows good results of social and economical development, increases financial rates substantially, and develops in a dynamic way.
A vice-president of the international rating agency “Moody’s” – the main analyst of the agency Alexander Proklov estimated Kharkov saying the words above at the meeting with the deputy of the mayor of Kharkov Mikhail Fateyev on the 4th of August.
”I would like to admit that the management of the city on the finances and municipal view became much better and its quality improved, - the vice-president of the agency underlined. – the state of Kharkov at the rating scale could be much more higher but it is held at this position by the rating of the country. I think that while the national rating increases Kharkiv is going to move forward too because the great potential of the city is obvious”.
Alexander Proklov together with the younger analyst of the agency Helena Federmeyer came to Kharkov to hold a partial monitoring of investing abilities of the city.
According to the results of the visit the agency will renew or confirm the current international rating mark of Kharkov, which is a mark of stability for internal and external investors.
The guests visited the United Permissive center and the main sports, transport and tourist objects of the city infrastructure. The representatives of the agency held meetings with heads and specialists of the Department of economics and municipal property, the Department of budget and finances, the Department of enterprising and consumers market, the Department of transport and telecom, the Department of housing and communal servicing of Kharkov city council. The questions of social and economical and financial development of Kharkov, the state of housing and municipal services and engineering and transport infrastructure according to the results of their work in 2011 were discussed at these meetings.
Information. By now according to the scale of “Moody’s” the long-term credit rating of Kharkov is at the same level as its sovereign rating which is “B2” with the forecast as “stable”.
